Seaside beer festival is almost a sell out more than a week before it begins
A seaside beer festival has almost sold out more than a week before it returns for its fourth year.
Saltburn’s community and arts centre will once again play host to Cleveland Camra’s two-day, 2,592 pint real ale revelry, on November 15 and 16.
But tickets are already completely taken for the first day, and organisers say just a few remain for the Saturday night.
“We have 36 different beers – including ales from Conquest Brewing, Lion’s Den Brewery, Wainstones Brewery, Truefitt Brewing Co and Mithril Ales – but the festival is limited by the size of the community centre, and so is very much a local festival for the local community,” a spokesman said.
“Only a few Saturday evening tickets are left and Friday is fully sold out – though after 8pm on evenings, people may be admitted on a first-come first-served basis depending on capacity.”
As well as beer – which costs from £2.60 to £3.30 per pint – the festival will offer three ciders, two perries and a selection of fruit wines.
The remaining tickets, priced £1.50 for Saturday daytime (free for Camra members) or £3 for Saturday evening (£2 for members of the Campaign) can be bought by calling 01287 624997.
