Busker given big break as part of Gateshead pub’s autumn gigs
A BUSKER is being given his big break as part of a Tyneside pub’s autumn schedule of music.
The Head of Steam historic Central, on Gateshead’s Half Moon Lane, has invested in a new sound and light system, and having already welcomed local artists like blues-man Ray Stubbs to their upstairs Blue Room.
“Live music is so popular these days – the music scene in Gateshead has never been so strong” said Gavin Sinclair, manager of the Central.
“We are trialling a busker in the Buffet Bar on Sunday lunchtimes, which we hope will be a great success” said Gavin.
