Positive response after Tyneside pub attack appeal appears on Crimewatch
Detectives say they have had a positive response after their appeal to find a man involved in vicious glass attack outside a Tyneside pub was featured on Crimewatch.
Police are hunting Stephen Michael Waters – also known as Stephen McGlasson – following a fight in the car park of the West Wylam Inn in Prudhoe, Northumberland in July that saw a man stabbed in the neck and slashed across the face and arms.
Thirty eight year old Waters has links across the North East – specifically in Hexham, Prudhoe and Gateshead – and is identifiable by his various tattoos including the word Buster on his left arm, a large tribal design on his right arm and the name Bella tattooed on the back of his neck.
Anyone with information should contact Northumbria Police on 101.
