Northumbria police hunt arsonist after city pub firebombed
POLICE are hunting an arsonist who threw a flaming object into Newcastle pub.
Witnesses are being sought following the attack, which happened at The County pub, in Walker, on Saturday night.
At around 8pm a man walked in and threw a burning object into the bar. The fire was extinguished by a member of the public and no one was injured.
The suspect was described as a 5ft 7ins tall, slim white man, wearing a black or dark grey hooded top with the hood up.
