Mordue delighted as they receive Battle of the Beers prize
MORDUE Brewery showed they had the X Factor as they were presented with the Newcastle Beer Festival Battle of the Beers title.
A month after the Camra-organised festival owners Garry and Matthew Fawdon, head brewer Robert Millichamp and staff from the firm attended Lady Greys, on Shakespeare Street in Newcastle, to be presented with their prize for new brew X2.
Rob said the beer had flown out since it was announced as the winner of the festival competition in April.
And he was delighted to see Mordue recognised for one of its “own brand” beers – as more of the firm’s recent praise has been directed towards it’s experimental Panda Frog brand.
