Lost lion toy Roar visits Newcastle pub before being reunited with owner
A little lost lion has been reunited with the girl who left him on a train – having travelled hundreds of miles and visited a Newcastle pub.

“Plushy cat” Roar was accidentally left behind Friday on when his owner Phoebe and dad Ben Simpson on a London-bound East Coast service.
But found by kind passenger Lauren Vranch, Roar went on a journey to Newcastle – visiting Ouseburn’s Cumberland Arms – as she appealed through Twitter to find his home.
Roar visited Newcastle Quayside, Northern Stage and several other Newcastle locations with Lauren, before finally heading home to York on Monday, December 16.
