Drinkers look to Mordue and Gambling Man at start of Gateshead Beer Festival

DRINKERS poured into a sunshine drenched first day of Gateshead Beer Festival 2013.

Hundreds of beer and cider lovers turned out for the start of the 4th annual festival, at Gateshead Rugby Club, with local brews like Mordue X2 and Gambling Man Ginger Joker going down a treat. From further afield Thornbridge Jaipur was proving popular.

While in the music tent visitors were treated to performances from North East musicians Jonny Boyle, Scratch the Surface, Nathan Newton and Chris Binding.
