#IPADay 2013 in North East pubs
PALE ale fans will undoubtedly be wanting to get their gobs round some tasty treats this #IPADay – and if you live in the North East you are in luck.
Many pubs are planning their own #IPADay celebrations with specially brought in brews from both near and far.
Brewdog have invited Indian street food experts Dabba Wal to rustle up some tasty treats to pair their IPA tap takeover. They’ll be showcasing a wide range of IPAs on draft and in bottle, sourced from all over the globe.
Everyone’s favourite cruise liner themed bar the Bacchus will be devoting the majority of their handpull and keg taps to fabulous IPAs. Hop aficionado and manager Andy Hickson has a mighty stash of Indian Pale Ales squirreled away, ready to eviscerate the palates of north east beer lovers.
Gosforth’s finest real ale emporium the Brandling Villa is turning over its taps for a Meet the Brewer event with Bristol’s Arbor Brewing. Sixteen different beers will be available and there’ll be more than couple IPAs for you to shout about.
Home to the hilarious CraigDavid pubcat, the Free Trade Inn is also flying the IPA flag proudly this Thursday. Get ready to sample some superlative beers from the likes of Summer Wine, Tyne Bank and new brewer on the block Northern Monk. Cask, keg and bottle lovers will have nothing to worry about. Your liver on the other hand may thank you less.
