Captain Cook Inn Maritime Beer Festival
The Captain Cook Inn, in Staithes, near Whitby is hosting a maritime themed beer festival over the August Bank Holiday weekend.
The festival kicks off at 11am on Thursday August 23 with 25 ales and appropriately themed food.
That includes: Fish, chips & mushy peas plus a pint for £6.50, fish cake, new potatoes, salad plus a pint for £6.50, fish curry, rice and a pint for £6.50, Thai prawns plus sweet chilli dip for £3.95, fish goujons with tartar dip for £2.95, or salmon, salad and new potatoes for £7.95
A maritime themed choir will perform Saturday evening.
The bar is open 11am till midnight each day and entry is free.
