Hungry thieves steal meat and cheese from Hebburn pub

Northumbria Police logoRavenous raiders stole meat and cheese as they burgled a Hebburn pub.

The hungry thieves struck at some point between 12.40am and 7am on Saturday October 11, breaking into an outhouse at the Lord Nelson tavern on Monkton Lane.

Northumbria Police is now appealing for information and asking anyone who may have seen the  uncooked meat and cheese being taken to come forward.

Anyone who witnessed the burglary or who may have been offered cheap meats for sale should contact police on 101, extension 69191, quoting log number 509 11/10/14.
