Gambling Man bets on St Oswalds Hospice with Christmas charity offer

CannyBrewBrewers are offering casks of their beer for nothing – in exchange for a donation to Newcastle’s St Oswald’s Hospice.

To mark the festive season The Gambling Man Brewing Company, from Willington, near Crook, County Durham have produced four casks of two special Christmas beers.

And the firm is not asking for any direct payment – instead asking for a donation of between £70 and £75 to be made to St. Oswalds on their behalf.

“We have four casks available, two of each beer,” said head brewer Paul Armstrong.

“One is called Xmas Flourish and is a classic dry,  4.0% ABV stout brewed and flavoured with liquorice.

“The other is called Mint Result and is a robust and fruity 3.7% ABV porter brewed and flavoured with chocolate and mint.

Casks are available on a first come, first served basis and if you’d like one you better get in quick by calling Dave Walls on 07977154675 or emailing brewery@gamblingmanbrewco.com

“St. Oswalds Hospice is a very special place and does absolutely wonderful work, and we would be honoured if you would help us support them,” said Paul.
